I grew up on traditional country and bluegrass as a kid in Kentucky with my parents and began singing at the age of 6. My father played country and bluegrass music with both of his brothers and named me after Marty Robbins. He also taught me how to sing and play guitar.
I have been playing professionally for 20 years. I have opened for country musicians George Jones and Merle Haggard. I played with various traditional country bands through the years. I have also played in many bluegrass bands and opened for Ralph Stanley.
My first release with Century II Records went to Number 1 on the IndieWorld Chart in April and is currently being played worldwide. My cover of Never Again, Again hit #1 on the IndieWorld Chart as did my duet with Donna Cunningham , Golden Ring.
